What's new from Talk to a Pastor Online?

So what is new?

After reading  Hooked on Games:The Lure and Cost of Video Game and Internet Addiction by Dr. Andrew Doan, MD, I became aware of how many people are starting to have major issues over internet use, video games and inappropriate internet content. 

Some people are becoming addicted because they do not realize just how strong the appeal of these things will be. Others are spending lots of money and hours a day--they are ashamed, their family life is suffering, and they are struggling.  So I have made some new lectures and a meditation to help with excessive or inappropriate internet and gaming. 


I have also become aware that many people are in a brain fog, and are being impacted by too much texting, internet use, and gadget use. These things are huge distractions. They also reduce productivity. A university study found that people who check their text messages and emails every few minutes while working or studying reduce their productivity 26%. I made a special version of my 5 minute meditation to help you pull back from too much internet, texting and gadget involvement
