Need Christian Answers? Now there is eHomily

You've Heard of  eHarmony dot com, now there is  eHomily. That's right. Pastor Roland is beginning a new service called eHomily.

What is a homily? A homily is a short sermon.

When you have a question you would like to ask a pastor, you can ask Pastor Roland for his usual short answer to your email or short answer to your chat request.

But now there is something new!

Now you can send Pastor Roland an email and ask for an eHomily.

Pastor will look to see if he has a short lecture or sermon on the subject or a posted homily. He will send you the link so you can read his eHomily. It's like getting a sermon chosen just for you and sent to you for free.

If you want to pray yourself about something, but don't know what to say--I will try to find a prayer just for you.

For example, one lady said that she is afraid and feels anxious. I found just the prayer for her!

Psalm 90.

Did you know that you can pray the Psalms? that's right.

Psalm 90 is perfect to pray when you are afraid or anxious.

Try it.

You might also like Isaac Watts Psalm 90 Hymn, which you can also pray, sing or listen to.

Here it is.

1 O God, our help in ages past,
our hope for years to come,
our shelter from the stormy blast,
and our eternal home:

2 Beneath the shadow of thy throne
thy saints have dwelt secure;
sufficient is thine arm alone,
and our defense is sure.

3 Before the hills in order stood,
or earth received its frame,
from everlasting thou art God,
to endless years the same.

4 A thousand ages in thy sight
are like an evening gone,
short as the watch that ends the night
before the rising sun.

5 Time, like an ever rolling stream,
bears all our years away;
they fly forgotten, as a dream
dies at the opening day.

6 Our God, our help in ages past,
our hope for years to come,
be thou our guard while life shall last,
and our eternal home.

Blessings,

Pastor Roland
