Talk to a Pastor Loves England

Maybe it's because I used to play darts when I was in college.  But for whatever reason, I'm particularly fond of  people from the United Kingdom, and I am pleased to say that I have many visitors from there.

"Why talk to just anyone when you can talk to a Pastor?" says Pastor Roland who has an earned MS and
Doctorate in Pastoral Psychology.
And I make myself available to people on the internet. I've been helping people via my radio program, books, articles, and private counseling for 23 years.

You don't have to be a Christian to talk to me. I'm just interested in solutions, recovery, optimal living and solving issues.

I am here for one purpose - to be of help.

I offer two tiers of service.

  • Top Flight: I offer professional pastoral counseling 7 days a week for personal issues and feedback via texting, phone, and email.
  • Second tier: free live chat for a quick question you'd like to ask. (you must be 18, no emergencies, no counseling. Just a question for a pastor). Text me a question 24/7 - some questions will be answered on my radio program!
We also offer an outstanding array of free audio sermons, articles, a meditation to calm down, and even some free books to read online at our 24/7 Self Help Resource Center.

Need some advice or feedback from a pastor? Need help with a relationship issue? Do you want some help coping with stress, family/work balance issues, overcoming negative emotions, learning to forgive, dealing with doubts, or would you like an answer to a religious question?  You may wish to try me.

But I also want to give you some resources so you can gather information and find the right person

How do I find an online counselor or therapist? Good question. You deserve an answer.

I want to give you some resources, but let me just say this. Find someone with a heart, with understanding and common sense. Find someone who has some experience. Those of us who have a really wise grandma, grandpa, dad, or a trusted senior mentor are very fortunate.

I would begin by becoming educated and informed. Spend some time looking over some free resources about online counseling and about online therapy. Then with a little background, you will be better able to decide if online counseling is something you want to consider, and secondly who to select.

As a free service to the internet community, I would like to share with you some informative places to quickly get some helpful information.

Starting off with these sources will save you time. I chose them not because I have anything to do with them. I don't. But the information is easy to read, client friendly, inclusive, and informative.

This is a starting place. Of course, I have to repeat that I am not endorsing these people. I just like the information they provide to help people become informed and educated.

Wally Gengrich - good one page overview of the pluses and minutes of eTherapy, with a list of additional resources online.

Metanoia.org - The A, B, C's of Internet Therapy - answers a lot of questions about cost, issues, is it right for me, privacy, e-therapy history and much more.

MadnessRadio.net Personal experiences from beyond conventional perspectives and mainstream treatments, and features authors, advocates, scientists, and artists. Listen to radio programs featuring survivors and advocates. Good source of information about harm reduction

BeyondMeds.com There is so much informative, touching, compassionate and honest information here that you may wish to subscribe to the RSS feed because it is frequently updated.

Psychiatric Drug Facts with Dr. Peter Breggin - Called the psychiatrist with a heart, his site is a wealth of credible information about therapy, meds and empathetic counseling
