I am taking a little rest. I am reading the Autobiography of Martin Luther King Jr., edited by Clayborn Carson. We all have heard his famous "I have a dream" speech. But I am stunned by the eloquence and nobility in so many of his other speeches. For many, especially in the early days after Rosa Parks was arrested, he had little time to prepare them, or no time at all.
I found the book at the public library. I urge you to read it.
